Anne Oestriecher, CPA, CFP®

Anne Oestriecher is a Certified Public Accountant, having graduated from Loyola University in 1985 and receiving her CPA certificate in 1986. She began her career working with Touche Ross, CPAs in their audit department. After rising to the level of audit manager, she left public accounting to work for Hibernia National Bank as their Accounting Policy & Control Manager. There, she was responsible for many aspects of accounting and reporting, including analysis of new accounting pronouncements, coordinating internal control issues, and had technical accounting responsibilities for items such as investments, derivatives and purchase accounting.
Upon the acquisition of Hibernia by Capital One in 2006, Anne moved from New Orleans back to her hometown of Alexandria, and formed her own practice, providing continuing education for CPAs. She traveled around the country providing seminars to other CPAs on various accounting and auditing topics. She was named the Outstanding Discussion Leader by the Society of Louisiana CPAs in 2009 and by the American Institute of CPAs in 2011.
In 2008, Anne began the process of earning her securities licenses, and in 2009 joined her father in Oestriecher Financial Management Services. She is licensed as an Investment Advisory Representative as well as a Registered Representative with LPL Financial, as well as having a Life and Health insurance license. These licenses provide her with the ability to offer a complete range of investment and risk management products and services. In 2011, Anne passed the CFP® examination and other requirements and is now a Certified Financial PlannerTM professional.
Always active in her community, Anne has been a volunteer with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for more than 35 years, serving as the chairman for the Great Strides Walk each year, as well as helping with other projects of the CFF. She coached softball for several years at her neighborhood playground in Metairie, and currently serves on the Troop Committee for BSA Troop 6. She is an active member of St. Frances Cabrini Church in Alexandria. She is also a member of the Society of Louisiana CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs.
In 2022, Anne married Matt Martin. She and Matt live in Alexandria, and enjoy spending time with their five grandchildren, three dogs, going to concerts and traveling.
